A passionate teacher, mentor and academic with more than 25 years of experience in facilitating learning in and outside the classroom. He was voted best faculty for a core subject, six times in seven years at his previous institution. Believes in and practices un-learning and re-learning as necessary pathways to enable effective learning. Has successfully experimented and implemented experiential pedagogies in the management class.
An HBSP trained case teacher passionate about case teaching and offering case-based courses. Interested in agrarian change and transitionary food production systems in developing societies, sustainable development and literature. In his previous assignments he also donned the roles of Dean Academics, PGP Chairperson, Director Executive PGDM, Coordinator FDPs, Head Academics, Head of Ranking & Accreditation & Coordinator IQAC. He holds a Ph D in Development Economics from CESP, JNU, New Delhi and M Phil & MA (Economics) from the Department of Economics, University of Kerala.
