Prompt Charitable Trust (PCT)
M/s. Prompt Charitable Trust, the promoter of LEAD College, Palakkad, was established in Palakkad with the objective of creating an educational institution that imparts holistic education of the Trust is to nurture human excellence by integrating knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values, thereby enabling students to realize their full potential. The founding trustees include leaders from the fields of education, business, and social service, each deeply committed to societal advancement.

Responsibilities of PCT
The trust members are not directly involved in the day-to-day functioning of the institute. Trust members have delegated the powers to the Governing Body, while retaining authority in m to charitable activities for the society.
Frequency of PCT Meetings
Meetings of the Prompt Charitable Trust are convened once every six months at the direction of the Chair. Instructions for convening a meeting, as and when required, can be given under of the Chair.
Governing Body (GB)
The Governing Body, constituted by the Prompt Charitable Trust, serves as the apex body directly associated with the operations of the institution. It functions as the vital link between the college leadership, overseeing institutional operations and ensuring alignment with the objectives of the Trust. In the context of a non-profit organisation, the Governing Body acts as the l of the institution, with its members representing the interests of the college community. It is responsible for mobilising resources and taking strategic decisions to fulfil the mission of the As the highest authority appointed by the Trust, the Governing Body holds the power to add, amend, or repeal provisions in the constitution, in accordance with the rights defined under S the constitution.

Responsibilities of GB
- Review the institute's performance.
- Income and Expenditure statements, Account Book, Balance Sheet and Annual Report
- Give the final decision on the Strategic Plans, HR policies, and Appointment
- Approve the agenda of the Trust with respect to the institute.
- Approve any matter put forward by the management for the GB's approval
after due discussion and consideration.

Programme Advisory Committee (PAC)
The Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and continuous improvement of the MBA programme. The PAC, comprising faculty members and stakeholders, systematically reviews the attainment of Programme Outcomes (POs) through analysis of academic performance, feedback from alumni, and industry stakeholders, and other data. Based on its findings, the PAC recommends necessary academic and administrative enhancements, thereby fostering a culture of excellence, relevance, and outcome-based education at LEAD College of Management.

Functions and Responsibilities
- Evaluate the attainment levels of POs through systematic data collection and analysis.
- Assess curriculum delivery, pedagogical methods, and learning resources to ensure they meet the desired academic standards and industry relevance.
- Evaluate results, placement data, and feedback from students, alumni, recruiters, and other stakeholders to identify areas of improvement.
- Suggest changes in course structure, teaching methods, and assessment systems to enhance overall programme quality.
- Align programme activities and outcomes with accreditation requirements, institutional goals, and best practices in outcome-based education.

The Program Core Committee plays a major role in the day-to-day activities of the Institution. All the decisions taken at the BOG level and duly recommended by the LDC are implemented through various committees.

- Measure the performance of the concerned areas.
- Ensure smooth running of daily activities.
- The provision of amending the constitution needs to be ratified by the committee.
- Recommend amendment of provisions, approved by the respective committees, for its approval by the BOS, Director and the BOG.
- Recommend members for inclusion in the PCC for the Director's consent and approval by the BOS.
- Constitute sub-committees, as per the statutory requirements and for the smooth conduct of the institutional activities and reconstitute them on the completion of their terms.

Responsibility of IQAC

LEAD Development Committee
The Leadership Decision Council (LDC) serves as an advisory body to the Chairman of the Prompt Charitable Trust, providing guidance on strategic and institutional matters. The Council includes the Academic Advisor, a Senior Professor, Former Director, Current Director, Finance Head, and the Administrator, with the Deputy Director participating as an invited guest. Meetings of the Council are convened once or twice a week, based on the requirements. The Council contributes to the development and implementation of industry-relevant initiatives at LEAD, while also facilitating planning, policy formulation, and decision-making processes of the institution on a regular basis.

Academic Council (AC)
In LEAD, the Academic Council is formed once LEAD has become autonomous. It is to assist in ensuring quality and ensuring a relevant, coherent and innovative curriculum. The Academic Council is the primary academic governing body of a college, responsible for overseeing and maintaining academic standards, policies, and practices. It includes three representatives of the University, external academic experts, industrial experts, alumni representatives, four MBA faculty members and one MCA faculty member, Controller of Examinations, Chairman and Deputy Director. The Council plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of education offered by the institution.
Term: The term of the nominated members shall be three years.
Meetings: Meetings of the Academic Council are convened once every six months.
Functions of the Academic Council:
- (a) Scrutinize and approve the proposals with or without modification of the Board of Studies with regard to courses of study, academic regulations, curricula, syllabi and modifications, instructional and evaluation arrangements, methods, procedures relevant thereto, etc., provided that where the Academic Council differs on any proposal, it shall have the right to return it for reconsideration to the Board of Studies concerned or reject it, after giving reasons to do so.
- (b) To make regulations regarding the admission of students to different programmes of study in the Autonomous College, keeping in view the policy of the Government.
- (c) To recommend to the Governing Body proposals for the institution of new programmes of study.
- (d) To recommend to the Governing Body, the institution of scholarships, studentships, fellowships, prizes, and medals, and to frame regulations for the award of the same.
- (e) To advise the Governing Body on suggestions(s) pertaining to academic affairs.
- (f) To perform such other functions as may be assigned by the Governing Body.

Board of Studies (BOS)
LEAD College has two BOS committees - MBA and MCA. These committees are responsible for overseeing the academic curriculum and related matters for the MBA and MCA departments. Each committee comprises faculty members, experts, and other stakeholders like alumni and industry representatives. The BoS plays a crucial role in developing, reviewing, and updating curriculum, recommending teaching and examination methods, and advising on academic policies. It consists of the Deputy Director, all MBA and MCA faculty members, the University Nominee subject experts, Academic Advisor, industrial expert and alumni.
Term: The term of the nominated members shall be three years.
Meetings: Meetings of the Board of Studies shall be held once every six months.

Finance Committee (FC)
The finance committee of an autonomous college is a statutory body responsible for overseeing the institutions finances. The committee reviews budget proposals, monitors expenditure, and advises the Governing Body on financial matters. The committee plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and responsible use of funds.
Composition of Finance Committee: Finance Committee comprises of the Director (Chairman), Administrator (Nominated by the Governing Body), Finance Officer, and Officer Finance and Accounts (Member Secretary).
Term: The term of the Finance Committee shall be three years.

- Prepare annual budget and financial estimates.
- Monitor income, expenditure, and resource utilization.
