Assistant Professor

Abel Jopaul V P is the founding faculty member of the PG Department of Computer Applications at LEAD College (Autonomous). He is an Assistant Professor in Computer Applications with over eight years of academic and research experience. His expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Generative AI, Adaptive AI, and Prompt Engineering. He has served in various academic leadership roles, including Board of Studies Member, Head of Department, Academic Council Member, and College Council Member. He is proficient in curriculum design, outcome-based education (OBE), and NAAC/NEP compliance. With a strong research background in Artificial Intelligence, Abel Jopaul has guided more than 100+ student projects and is recognized for his commitment to student mentoring, innovative teaching, and academic event coordination.
