Interaction with Outside World

We at LEAD have frequent visitors from various organisations - and this interaction helps in  moulding of our youngsters into corporate-ready managers and bold team leaders. 

LEAD maintains a cordial relationship with the neighbourhood and the local administration, by which the student and local community are mutually benefitted. The notable extension activity which institution serves the community is through its ISR activates.

  • Students have worked as special police during Panchayath Elections.
  • Our students have volunteered with the social security officials during the unauthorised arrival of more than 500 children of 7 - 13 years age group from Jharkhand and Bihar.
  • Medical camps and eye camps are conducted regularly by the students for the benefit of local public.
  • Students regularly volunteering in all the major programmes like, INDEXPO, Swaralaya, and Nadham - few major ones to list.
  • Regular meetings and programmes of neighbouring like Edom ManavikaVedhi, KarshakaSamithi etc. besides Rotary, JCI, MA Ply Foundation, Viswasetc. external social organisations also have chapters in LEAD.
  • Every year on 2nd of October, cleaning is done in various locations of Palakkad like KSRTC Bus Stand, BOC Road, Kalpathy River side, Railway Station etc. Students also actively participate in removing plastic waste in various locations under Palakkad municipality.
  • Several residential camps for the children were conducted on behalf of National Service Scheme, Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad, EdomManavikaVedhietc.
  • We train the children of various schools, employees of Kudumbasree and other organisations for skill development. 
  • Under the guidance and advise of The District Collector of Calicut, we participted in cleaning the muncipal bus stand area under a programme called 'Compassionate Calicut'.
